George Gulley left the seminary to go to Vietnam. He became a lineman, one of the "silent heroes" of the war. In this veterans oral history, he shares his story, which includes almost getting killed multiple times, and the story of a monkey who became a casualty of war. As he states several times, somebody was looking out for him.
