125-Year-Old Padma Shri Awardee, Yoga Guru Swami Sivananda On Times Now | Exclusive

Swami Sivananda, who was born in Sylhet district of undivided India in the year 1896 received India's highest civilian award Padma Shri by President of India Ram Nath Kovind. He received the award while walking bare feet inside the Durbar Hall of Rashtrapati Bhavan. While speaking to Times Now's reporter, he said, 'Be brave, be vegetarian'. He further added, 'This award is not conferred on me but this award is for people across the world.' 125-year-old Swami Sivananda who has visited more than 30 countries across the world says that 'I am still young and it is all because of Yoga and Mediation'.
