The LSE Future of Pakistan Conference 2023 was introduced by Meerub Amir, the Postgraduate Officer of the LSESU Pakistan Development Society.
In our first session, we were joined by Lt. Gen. (R) Haroon Aslam (Retired 3-Star General, Pakistan Army) and Michael Kugelman (Director, South Asia Institute, Wilson Centre) for a discussion on 'Civil Military Relations: Coexistence or Confrontation?', moderated by Dr. Farzana Shaikh (Associate Fellow, Chatham House).
The session was introduced by Ahmed Zeerak Rana, Co-President of the LSESU Pakistan Development Society, and concluded by Myra Ahmed, Outreach Officer of the LSESU Pakistan Development Society.
