A day in the life travel VLOG on the island of ILOVIK, in Croatia. Life in CROATIA has been a bit calmer due to the COVID-19 pandemic. We are enjoying our time visiting the island while tourism is down.
Today we go on a hike through the farming fields in the hills of Ilovik which we call “campagna”. This is where many local families grow OLIVE TREES to be used for fresh extra virgin olive oil. Some locals raise sheep which are used for making cheese, and for meat.
The evening after our hike, we head over to the island of Sveti Petar (Priko) by fishing boat to see my uncle’s garden, which he has turned into a fruit orchard. He grows many of the local fruits and flowers of Croatia, and has even set up a fishpond.
We end the boat trip in the port of Ilovik with a beautiful sunset over the ADRIATIC SEA.
