Taranza isn't as much of a spammer as many other characters, and he requires very good knowledge of enemy patterns. He needs careful positioning and timing in setting up the right moves, and once that's done, he can go in with Super Taranza Burst for devastating amounts of damage.
Super Taranza Burst deals an enormous 96 damage, has massive range, works on both the ground and the air, charges fast, and has an absurd hitbox length relative to the animation (see Goldon & Silvox). This move alone lets Taranza destroy most bosses. The setups are critical to take his already very high damage to supreme levels.
The run was pretty solid, though the later fights started getting dodgy because the Mages are incredibly difficult to space Super Taranza Burst on in phase 2, and Morpho was annoying with RNG (as usual). My record with him is 9:03.97.
