📽️ This video shows the first ever goal conceded by Lev Yashin in international football.
🗓️ On August 14, 1954, at Dynamo Stadium in Moscow, the Moscow national team (representing the USSR) faced Bulgaria in a friendly match. This was Yashin’s debut for the USSR in an international setting. In front of 55,000 spectators, Bulgaria scored in the 15th minute — making it the first time Yashin was beaten while playing for his country.

Bulgarian winger Dimitri Milanov scored after getting past the Soviet defense. Yashin, wearing No. 1, came out to stop the attack but couldn’t reach the ball in time. Soviet player Boris Tatushin (#7) was also late to the challenge, and the ball went in.
