To my knowledge models affected are as follows 24", 28" and 30" EFI and Carbureted.

This is a repair tutorial for Ariens snowblowers with the issue of the drive belt constantly breaking or shredding. Pins falling out of the drive plate retaining rod (swing assembly and swing rod) causing premature failure. I show you my fix for this issue to prevent future failure. And also addressing the oversized drive belt PN:07200300 Ariens put on there from the factory.
For this specific Deluxe 28 model 921046 we used a Toro 115-4669 to replace the friction drive belt. It is a slightly shorter belt.
