The song being revived this time is "Mirai e", released in 1998 by Kiroro, a female duo from Okinawa known for producing timeless classics such as "Nagai Aida" and "Best Friend".

今回リバイバルされる楽曲は、「長い間」や「Best Friend」などの名曲を排出してきた、沖縄出身の女性二人組音楽ユニット Kiroroが、1998年にリリースした「未来へ」。
メンバーの玉城千春が中学校3年生のときに母親に宛てた曲で、親から子へ贈る温かいメッセージと愛情が込められたバラードで、家族の絆や感謝の気持ちを歌った名曲として多くの人々に愛され、今では卒業ソングや結婚式ソングとして、人生の節目に聴きたくなる名曲。
この楽曲を、実力派シンガーソングライターのHiplinが、原曲の優しいメロディーと力強い歌詞の印象は残しながらも、柔らかくゆったりとしたサウンドとアレンジで再構築。
