Today I'm at the University Club in San Diego (a much better venue than I was in yesterday) and I figured I'd talk a bit about the alignment issue between sales and marketing.

For those of you who have been on either side of the revenue equation, I'm sure you've experienced the disconnect between those two functions. Marketing is excited to have people filling out forms and reaching out but sales is telling you that the leads are no good.

There's a way to address the issue with demographic lead scoring and it's worth looking into if you're not using it yet.
