We’re building a new life on our own remote wilderness island, and this week, it’s a wild mix of off-grid projects, family moments, and wilderness adventures. From losing parts in the lake to installing a full UV water purification system, every day presents a new challenge—and opportunity.

The kids are here (yay!), the barge is loaded, and we’re working together to get our remote homestead running smoothly. Oh, and did we mention the bear encounter?! 😲 Opal saved the day! Once again reminding us why she's the best wilderness dog around!
