Nigel Farage insists he “never directly racially abused anybody” after ex-classmates claimed he made racist and antisemitic remarks at Dulwich College. He told ITV he never targeted anyone “with intent,” but admitted he may have said things as a teen that would now be seen as offensive “banter.”
Former pupils told The Guardian he used phrases like “Hitler was right” and “Gas them,” which Farage denies, calling the claims politically motivated. He said he can’t remember everything from 50 years ago but maintains he never engaged in ‘genuine racial abuse’.
Labour figures say he is downplaying serious behaviour, and urged him to apologise and address the allegations properly.
