Programmable DC Load Project PC3-100131.
Hello and welcome to another video by CHS Electronics. This video is about a programmable DC load that I have been developing over the last few months. It is programmed using PICBasic Pro 3 and runs on a PIC18F4423 which has a 12bit ADC. Within the circuit I use two i2c 12bit DACs to set the control voltage of the FET driving op amps in relation to a voltage set by a ten turn 10k potentiometer. I also use two 1ohm 25W 1% resistors to measure the current.
In this video I give a brief history of the different versions I have made and I show how everything is put together. Also, I show the pcb of the next version which will be used for the final build.
