Hello lovely souls! ✨🌊✨ Fluid Art Dutch Pour Wave – Healing & Hope Tribute ✨🌊

For the last Talent Tuesday of the year, I’m so excited to share this special Dutch pour wave with you! Huge thanks to my dear friend Kim from Kim’s Art Alchemy — check out her incredible work here:

In this video, I create a Dutch pour wave using iridescent, light-filled colours, painting freely and intuitively in my own fluid art style.

My dear friend and channel member Pietro donated the canvas and paints purely out of the goodness of his heart. I was so touched by his generosity that I offered to create a painting in return — one with meaning.

As this video goes out just before New Year’s Eve, it feels like a moment to pause and reflect — honouring the year that has passed and holding space for the year to come.

This painting is dedicated to Cornwall Hospice Care, with the hope that it can help raise funds and awareness for the incredible work they do.

Before I begin the pour, I also want to acknowledge the queen of Dutch pours, my dear friend Kristey from Kreations by Kristey. Her stunning work has been such an inspiration.

✨Materials & Ratios

✨Paints:
Pebeo Iridescent Gold
Pebeo Crimson
Arteza Bordeaux Red

✨Additives:
Silicone Oil (1-3 drops in each colour)
Cell Activator (CA):
Amsterdam Paint + Australian Floetrol

✨Base Paint::
Crawford & Black Acrylic + My Pouring Medium as indicated below...

✨Ratios:
Pouring Medium (PM): 20% Liquitex PM & 80% Water
Paint Mix: 50% paint & 50% PM

Prepare Your Pouring Medium Mix:
Mix 80% Water with 20% Liquitex Gloss Pouring Medium. (This creates your total liquid medium.)
Create Your Final Paint:
Take 1 part of your Pouring Medium Mix (from Step 1).
Add 1 part of your Pebeo Acrylic Paint.
