Tuna Mayhem with Prohunter Mafia Offshore Popping Rods

Welcome to another episode of furious fishing with Prohunter products. In this trip we were fishing on the 65' Viking Sportfisher 'Aguja' at Cebaco Bay Sportfishing, Panama off the infamously remote and pristine Cebaco Island. Not 15 minutes after leaving the mothership, we encountered football field sized foamers of good sized Yellowfin Tuna. Poppers were the game this day. Especially the Prohunter GT Monster and the Prohunter Boga wooden popper. These very game tuna were literally jumping out of the water to hit them. Perhaps it was the remote location but these fish were not shy as long as the lures resembled the baitfish that were feeding on. The gear used was a mixed bag of Daiwa 2015 Saltiga 6500H, IRT 600 and Jigging Master reels mounted on Prohunter 80XH PE 6-8 and 76XXH PE 8-10 rods. Those combos made short work of the countless Tuna we encountered that day.
