A Soft Summer Day | Raspberry Scones, Afternoon Tea & & The Village Fair 🌿🍰 | Slow Living

Hello my dears! today I’m spending a quiet, soul-filling day all to myself — a day made of small joys and simple pleasures. 🌿✨

The morning begins slowly, with a nourishing breakfast of creamy avocado toast and sunny fried eggs, fresh from our own hens. With the first light still soft in the air, I take a peaceful walk through the countryside, spotting the first pears and apples of the season — a gentle reminder that autumn is on its way. At the stables, before the heat settles in, the horses enjoy a refreshing shower, their contentment almost contagious. 🐴💦

Back home, I try my hand at a new recipe for white chocolate raspberry scones (spoiler: it doesn’t quite go as planned, but they’re still sweet in their own way). Later, I brew a fragrant pot of cranberry almond tea, settle in with a good book, and let the afternoon drift by in quiet comfort. 🍵📚

As the sun begins to sink, I wander to our village fair — the scent of sugar and popcorn in the air, the Ferris wheel turning slowly against the evening sky, and the happy hum of voices all around. 🎡🍭
