Black Ops 7 is... Actually Good?

Black Ops 7 is the newest game in the Call of Duty: Black Ops series and is a sequel to the disaster of Black Ops 6. This time, Treyarch promised classic 3-lane maps, faster movement, and wall jump... for the low price of $70.

The biggest change that was made in this game that surprised players is the "removal" of Skill Based Matchmaking (SBMM) for the first time in almost 6 YEARS.

A lot of this only happened because Battlefield 6 got revealed back in July and actually swayed fans because it was everything they had been asking for: realism, gritty atmosphere, fair matchmaking, no Beavis and Butthead.
Meanwhile the BO7 trailer made people preorder Battlefield instead.

In this video, I explain the history of this game. From the failure of Black Ops 6, to the Battlefield 6 reveal, to the panic influenced decisions made by Activision leading up to the launch. Then I jumped into my first multiplayer matches on release day and talked about what went wrong... and maybe what went right.
