On June 1st, 2023, my daughter and I went to the Sanford River Rats game at Historic Sanford Memorial Stadium in Sanford, Florida. The River Rats offered for all kids in attendance to run the bases in between innings and my daughter jumped at the opportunity. She even got to slap hands with the Sanford River Rats mascot!
Such MLB Hall of Famers as Babe Ruth, Jackie Robinson, Willie Mays, and Sanford’s very own Tim Raines have been inside this historic baseball park.
