On October 26, 2025, the LCMS Pikes Peak Circuit sponsored a Reformation Hymn Festival at Immanuel Lutheran Church at Colorado Springs. Combined choirs sang Johann S. Bach's "Alleluia! O Praise the Lord Most Holy." J.S. Bach (1685-1750) for much of his life was musical director of the Lutheran churches in Leipzig, Germany. One of the greatest composers of all times, he was a devout Lutheran. This chorus is from one of some three hundred cantatas written for Sunday services at these churches. The combined choir is directed and accompanied (pre-recorded) by Dr. Donald Zimmermann.
