Let's talk about Pepsi! The Pepsi logo is iconic and in this video we take a nostalgic look back at Pepsi at its peak in the 1980's and 90s and compare the brand to what its up to today. When it comes to branding and marketing, Pepsi has always found a way to stand out from the competition - and by competition we mean their biggest rival Coca-Cola. We look at the brand at the height of the Cola Wars and the Pepsi Challenge, to the brand's latest 2024 re-branding. Of course, Pepsi has also had many stars of the music and movie industries pitching its products over the years, including Michael Jackson, and more recently Cardi B. We explore Pepsi's relationship to the stars of yesterday and today, as well the actual stars and the time the cola wars went to space. Like most big brands, Pepsi has seen some controversy over the years, including commercials like Kendall Jenner's that didn't go over well, and finding the company in court over a Harrier Jet giveaway that wasn't. We also break down the numbers af the cola wars battle for second place.
