I've been looking for an OEM type solution to hold my cell phone for navigation. I found that the Fiat Ducato (the promaster in Europe) has an OEM option for a locking tablet/phone holder that replaces the stock clipboard. This install video shows how it's install into a Ram Promaster.
The part number is 0735653789-001 and I purchased mine from ebay. Not sure if it's still in stock, but here is the URL:
