Today’s video is on Interpretation of Statute.In today's video we will discuss Internal & External Aids of Interpretation or Construction of Statute. These Internal and external aid helps the judiciary to interpret or construct the statute. Title, heading, illustration, definition, explanation, proviso etc are internal aid. Further Historical background, social conditions, dictionary, other statute and judicial decisions are external aid. These aids are explained with important case law citation.

In the previous video we have discussed the meaning & concept of Interpretation of Statute, various kinds of statute such as: Penal Statute, Remedial Statute, Repealing Statute, Codified Statute, Enabling Statute, Disabling Statute, Amending Statute, Consolidating Statute.
