Which variant of MG ZS EV is best?
The Excite Pro variant of the MG ZS EV is the best value-for-money variant. It comes packing with a panoramic sunroof, a wireless phone charger, a 10.1-inch touchscreen, a 6-speaker sound system and a 7-inch digital driver’s display. However, it fails to get a 360-degree camera, ADAS features and a powered driver’s seat, which are offered with the higher variants.

The MG ZS EV measures 4323 mm in length, 1809 mm in width (excluding mirrors), and 1649 mm in height (with roof rails) with a wheelbase of 2585 mm. The design of the MG ZS EV is pleasing to the eye and will appeal to most buyers. It has more of a European car aura to it, which makes it likeable.

A 50.3 kWh battery pack, powering a front-axle-mounted (FWD) electric motor that produces 177 PS and 280 Nm. It has a claimed range of 461 km.

It takes 8.5 to 9 hours to fully charge from 0 to 100 percent using a 7.4 kW AC charger, while a 50 kW DC fast charger can charge it from 0 to 80 percent in just 60 minutes.

MG ZS EV Safety
The MG ZS EV is yet to be crash-tested by either Global NCAP or Bharat NCAP, so its crash safety rating is unknown.

However, its safety suite includes six airbags (as standard), electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, and hill descent control. MG even offers a suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including lane keep assist and departure warning, adaptive cruise control, and autonomous emergency braking.
