Today was a simple but beautiful day in the countryside. I borrowed some fresh eggs from our neighbor, while my friend prepared the dough for homemade bread. I went to the garden and harvested fresh potatoes from the soil, and together we cleaned the pomegranate husks.
My friend baked the bread, and I loaded the potatoes onto our donkey to carry them to the outdoor cooking spot. With the fresh potatoes, colorful bell peppers, and eggs, I cooked a traditional rustic dish in a large pan over the fire.
The smell of the bread and the sizzling potatoes filled the air, and finally, we sat together to enjoy this delicious countryside meal. Moments like these show the beauty of rural life, simple cooking, and natural living.
