On our first HIV Justice Live! webshow we’re talking with some passionate activists and brilliant minds about a really important and timely topic - molecular HIV surveillance, which uses blood taken for HIV resistance testing to find ‘clusters’ of infections to inform a public health response to HIV. But rolling this out without community engagement and adequate safeguards risks doing much more harm than good. And besides, whose blood is it anyway?
