Overnight In The Uintas, Solo Backpacking, Uinta Mountains- June 2023

First trip in the Uintas for the 2023 backpacking season! Everything is coming back to life! The trail was snow free but a bit muddy in spots. Only one dead fall to navigate. Got the camp I wanted, and tried my hand at some tenkara fishing. One crazy deer encounter, and a night behind the lens with the stars to make it all come together! Another great weekend backpacking in the mountains of Utah!
