BUILDING BRIDGES: A Search for Healing

I am really struggling folks, with a decline in my health and no answers. It’s been the most frustrating experience of my existence, and the only thing that would make all this suffering and baffling illness worthwhile in the end, is if I somehow became a vehicle for the conversion of extremists outside and spirochetes inside, to join me in a healing quest for starting Temples of Light and building bridges in a Star Trek fellowship.

I am never giving up, even though I’ve been scraping through life at half capacity, operating with what feels like half a brain, that seemed like it nearly turned off during my Lyme relapse in 1995. Since then, time is the fire in which I’ve been burning, while I scrape through life like an aimless Lyme zombie, not able to build anything significant, not knowing where I belong, can grow or where I must go to find a breakthrough I’ve been patiently seeking for over 29 years.

I still dream of turning things around and tapping into the infinite possibility, love, connection and wonder of a cosmos I believe in, but feel separate and disconnected from for over a generation fighting a disease I’ve had to endure, breaking my body and mind down before its time.

It’s feeling bleak, like I’m running out of time and I can only live day to day, not sure how I’m going to be able to stop from crashing and burning, while simultaneously it feels like our nation and world is approaching a similar precipice, with tensions constantly flaring now between the world’s nuclear superpowers, as the climate crisis only deepens.

There’s got to be a way to turn things around at the personal and collective level; to tap into the healing power of the global mind and the spiritual natives of Earth, preparing to wage an extinction rebellion, to rage, rage against the dying of the light, by declaring the world we all want and need, while seeking its realization through a hero’s journey.

And there’s got to be a way the best within us and our heroes will prevail, so we can all join together in a no lose scenario, to help win the race for our future.
