Wildcat X and 1000 Starter Upgrade pt.1 - Why its needed and disassembly

This is a 5 part series showing how to do the starter upgrade to your Arctic Cat Wildcat 1000 or X model. 2013.5-2014 X models seem to be the most problematic for the case breaking, but all 1000/X models pre-2016 will also benefit from the gear upgrade from my understanding. I had not seen a good video on how to complete this upgrade so I wanted to put this together for others that are wanting info or on the fence about doing this upgrade. After seeing the condition of my starter gears, I highly recommend it. I also put together a quick and easy way to beef up the starter gear boss without welding. Below is a list of the part numbers needed
1- Starter Motor & Gear Upgrade kit - Arctic Cat 0825-032 2- Starter Clutch - Arctic Cat 0802-035 3- Puller - Arctic Cat 0444-254 or equivalent with crank saver 4- Bearing to make a sleeve from - 6204RS - Can be had in many different brands. Mine was $9.99 at a local parts store.
