In hip hop's early days this was the best combo out an S950 and a SP1200 the s950 was everything the SP1200 needed to get the Boom Bap. We cover everything about setting up the AKAI S9500 or the AKAI S900 since they work thge same way with the SP1200. THE MOST IMPORTANT step in the process is programing the AKAI S950 or S900 to use MIDI between the devices to trigger samples and get the right BOOm Bap sound.
