Advanced Amazon Ads & Strategies – Part 1 (the nuts & bolts)

Description: This session is intended to give you insight on how Amazon's Marketing Service (AMS) works, how you can influence its effectiveness and how you can use other marketing tools to help get the most out of your marketing dollar.

Last year (2022) this was a standing room only session and we barely had time to cover the material, so this year we have a bit more (updated) material to cover but it's now organized in two chunks to better allow time for questions and to more fully cover elements that prior attendees wanted to know about.

Session 1 is about the mechanics of the Amazon algorithm, training it, what to do, what NOT to do. The goal is to teach you how to understand what's going on in AMS and train your situation to most effectively use it.

Session 2 is about practical examples and a focus on how to create your own recipes for success.

These are advanced sessions, so we will not focus on basic concepts like ACoS and CTR/CPC etc, I will strive to make the more complex things understandable and the goal overall is to make you understand how to tailor your situation to most effectively use AMS for your genre/country store/etc. I will also cover, but only briefly, how other marketing methods (e.g. using Meta's ad platform) can be used to train the AMS algorithm and get the most out of your marketing spend.
