Story:

Eggman has created the ultimate AI daughter, Sage, to finally destroy Sonic the Hedgehog and his friends. Sage gets very close to defeating Sonic once and for all, but she makes a crucial mistake: she references an anime quote. Sonic notices this and calls her out on it. Instead of turning the situation negative, Sonic reassures Sage that it's fine to like anime

Just then, Eggman appears. Sage tries to hide her love for anime, but Sonic tells Eggman anyway. Sage becomes worried since she knows Eggman hates anime. Eggman gets furious and warns Sage that anime will turn her into a weeb if she continues watching it. Sonic and his friends counter Eggman's argument by explaining that it's perfectly normal to like anime

Eggman continues insulting everyone and declares he's disowning Sage because of her love for anime. At that moment, Knuckles steps up and offers to become Sage's stepdad. He encourages Sage to get rid of Eggman permanently, which she does by shooting a rocket launcher at Eggman and destroying him
