Scenic Florida Drive Route A1A Pompano Beach To Palm Beach

Hello, I am Todd and welcome to "Pompano Beach Vibes!"

In this video, we are going for a wonderful drive on scenic route A1A on a gorgeous afternoon. The sun is out during the tourists off-season as we tour what is often referred as "billionaires row" in certain areas.

As the passenger (not driving), we are free to swivel our heads and look out the side windows, too, as we pass by some beautiful mansions and shoreline along the way. Not to mention popular tourist beach destinations.

Fun Fact: Did you know that A1A is the farthest east you can drive and be parallel with the Atlantic Ocean as you drive north and south. (It is as close as you can get driving.) A1A is by far the most scenic route in Southeast Florida outside of the Florida Keys.

We start our drive in Pompano Beach on Atlantic Boulevard and US1 (Federal Highway) as we head east towards A1A (directly across from the beach). We turn left and take a leisurely drive going north on A1A.

Along the way you are going to see tourist hot beach spots, billionaire mansions, yachts through the inlet, loads of hotels and condominiums. You will often see spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean as well as a ton of palm trees under gorgeous, sunny skies.
