I would go to the market everyday. I started to pick up on they all work together, and they all try to stick to the same prices. Once you have been to the local market outside of the town, you can find out the real prices. The local markets outside of the town, don't get as much money as the markets in the town, so they will give you a better price because the tourist don't really go there. So you need to make an effort and go find the real local markets. This market is too use to taking advantage of tourist, and most tourist let them get away with whatever they want. Over time you end up spending a lot more then you should really. I'm trying to help you with this information, now you need to make an effort and go look for other market places. We have to stop supporting them taking advantage of us. Cambodia is really expensive place and the locals will charge you a dollar for each item if you let them. You shouldn't be paying western prices in the markets. In a restaurant OK your paying for a service and over heads, but in the market the products are coming from the main source, so the price should be a bargain. You also néed to haggle and don't just pay because you have the money. The locals push the price up and I see the tourist just paying. You need to become more intelligent and try and get a bargain. I don't like to say these things but the locals seem to hate tourist even if there being nice to your face, it's ashame but that's how it is. #marketreview
