✂️ I don’t go any bigger in ribbon size than 7/8” width. (9/16" in this video)
72” of EACH ribbon makes a 15” braid.
150” makes about a 33” braid
180" =36" braid
You just about have to multiply the braid length needed X 5 to get amount of ribbon needed to make that length. It should be a little too much ribbon but that’s the closest measurements I can give.
So if you want a 24” braid you would need to cut 120” length of ribbon.
18” braid =90” length of ribbon
36” braid =180” length of ribbon
Sept 2020 I recently made a 36” using 9/16” ribbon. I cut (if I remember correctly) 200” just to be safe. It was definitely too much. When I stopped braiding braid was 40” long and I cut some extra ribbon off
