Full Route Visual | Arriva Leicester X3 - Market Harborough to Leicester | 4522 (YX16 OJY)

Here is my visual of the X3 back to Leicester from Market Harborough, struck lucky as this was the only double-decker that day.

Experiences: Over the course of the year, I'd caught the route a few times down to Market Harborough and always enjoyed it. I think that even if I already had the visuals, I would have still been gutted for the E200s to take over the route.

They’re still the norm on this route today and I’m still pissed that is the case, now just because they’re 4 cylinder which I find rattly as hell when stationary and I know because I finally caught one on the 44 yesterday in the form of 3110. It was actually OK when it was moving. However, I still enjoyed my ride on 6 cylinder 26203 on the 48 in August more.

How I felt: I love the dual-carriageway on this route, this way it starts with a downhill and is nice and open. I knew that South-East Leicestershire is a calm and peaceful area so I wasn't nervous at all, just hyped up when I got on at the bus station that this route was finally being timelapsed.

The section before the Market Hall is reverting back to a peak time extension from the 24 February, so I’m glad a chance finally did open last summer. At least one double-decker became the norm after this was filmed anyway so I still had 6 months.
