Ulu made from old used mower blade, easy blacksmith project, simple forge work. Beginner Blacksmith

Hello all,
Hope all is well, join me this week as I create a beautiful functional ULU chopper. the ULU has been a staple of the Inuit people for ages and proves to be a useful fun forging project that allows you to utilize scrap materials and basic skills to produce a beautiful piece of work.

This video utilizes a bad boy mower blade that is no longer any good and is well past its lifespan, first the blade is cleaned with a 60-grit flap disk and then cut with my shop iron 30-amp plasma cutter. Follow along as I shape cut and grind this old blade into something to be proud of. from cutting pizza to skinning hides or making kindling you can't go wrong with an ulu.

I may forge a skillet this next video and maybe do a small cooking series next to the pond.
