How to Test a Pellet Grill Ignitor (Hot Rod) - Did Your Hot Rod Fail You?

I've had a number of part fail on my Camp Chef pellet grill and today was no exception. I went to start the unit and no smoke, Actually no heat at all in the burner cup.

While it was a simple test to determine the failure, replacing the part was a real pain.
