HELICOPTER | Christmas Tree Production | MD500 R44 B206 : This is a compilation of footage from various seasons of flying Christmas trees during the November harvest season in the state of Oregon. Helicopters and harvesting crews play an integral role in keeping up the high volume of production. Using a 20 to 50 foot line with remote hook to lift the tree bundles, the farmers rely on the helicopter crews to fulfill their orders getting trees to market on time and still fresh.
Helicopters used were the Hughes 500D, Robinson R44 Raven II and Bell 206B-3 Jetranger.
