Join us on an unforgettable offbeat road trip in Arunachal Pradesh as we drive from Jang to Chuna Mago, one of the most scenic and untouched routes in the Eastern Himalayas. This journey is not just about the destination—it’s about the raw beauty hidden along the road. 🚗🏔️

Starting from Jang, we stop by the iconic Murga Bridge, a perfect photography spot even without crossing it. Surrounded by hundreds of colorful prayer flags fluttering in the mountain winds, this location instantly sets a magical and spiritual tone for the adventure ahead.

The first 11 km is pure off-roading, rough, wild, and thrilling. Beyond that, the road transforms into smooth mountain stretches, with clean, crystal-clear water flowing along both sides, creating a surreal driving experience rarely seen anywhere else in India.

As we move deeper, the landscape becomes more dramatic—half-frozen waterfalls, icy rock faces, frozen streams, and vast untouched valleys. The views remain mesmerizing till Mago village and continue to feel even more remote and pristine as we head further towards Chuna Mago.

At Mago, travelers will find two local homestays and simple food options, making it an important stop in this high-altitude region. This road trip is about slow travel, responsible exploration, and discovering Arunachal Pradesh beyond the usual tourist routes.
