Dhak Bahiri is a cave in the Sahyadri hill range, situated near the village Jambhivli off village-Malavali in the Pune district of India. It was used by pilgrims and sages for the pilgrimage to the god Bahiri.
How to Reach ?
For Mumbaikars -
There are two ways to reach Dhak Bahiri. One is Sandashi Village and Second Vadap Village
Vadap is 6km away from Karjat Station. ST Buses available for both villages.
Take Local train for Karjat. From Karjat East ST Bus depo take bus for Sandashi Village and get down at sandashi. Ask anyone for the Thakur Adivasi Village where the trek route begins.
Karjat to Sandashi Bus timing - 5:45AM , 9:50AM,12:00PM , 2:30PM , 6:00PM Sandashi to Karjat - 6:30AM , 10:35AM , 3:05PM , 6:35PM
Bus fare - 25 Rs.
For Punekars -
Reach Jambhavali Village which is the base village of Dhak Bahiri.
