Transformative Change: Action research to boost biodiversity

How can we change the future of #biodiversity in Europe?

By transforming society’s perspectives and mindsets towards #nature. This is called transformative change.

The BIOTraCes project aims to use #TransformativeChange to boost biodiversity across Europe. This involves nine case studies on topics ranging from nature-building, nature recovery and traditional farming and #herding.

In our introductory film, meet our coordinating team from Wageningen University Research Environmental Research department. They describe the project’s goals and give a detailed look at their BIOTraces case study. Together with societal partner and initiator, Pauline Saltet, they are planning an eco-community in De Beuk, Wageningen. As with all our cases, the eco-community represents our goal to study and change interactions with nature.
