mind, besides the settings I show, be sure to be patient as Bioshock (classic not Remaster tho they come together on GOG) takes a lot longer to startup than most other games I tried. almost 3 minutes just at that initial logo and then some more at a dark screen. Bring up winlatorXR main menu during that and loadings so it doesn't freeze...

I have no actual clue which parameter exactly I messed with, but suddenly it's gone from very cheap, subtle 3D to very decidedly volumetric with almost perfect scale as if just native... I was left speechless for a moment and decided to share... also great performance.

also, I needed to actually edit the default resolution in on of the game setup files with notepad in the container. or else it starts in a stupid low resolution no matter the resolution you give it in the shortcut. worth every trouble honestly...
