In this video, we will teach you how to acclimate wood flooring to your home. When you are prepping for hardwood floors to go into your house, acclimation is one of the most important parts of the process. When the hardwood comes off the truck, its moisture content needs to be measured. We will show you how to measure the moisture in your hardwood as well as in the subfloor. Moisture levels between the hardwood floor and the subfloor need to be close. The process of getting these levels to match is called acclimation. Watch this video to learn how to properly acclimate the wood before its installed. This will be a very important part of prepping for the hardwood to be installed. Don't skip it.
