Professor Jean-Yves Blay presented findings from the largest nationwide study of liposarcomas, encompassing 11,000+ patients from the NETSARC+ registry. This session explored the clinical presentation, management, and outcomes of the diverse histological subtypes of liposarcoma, including well-differentiated, dedifferentiated, myxoid, pleomorphic, and rarer forms. Attendees gained insights into age- and sex-related differences in incidence and prognosis, as well as the importance of specialized sarcoma centers for optimal patient care.
