Today I'm sewing the Winter Dress from the Winter Skating Outfit for Luna Lapin designed by Sarah Peel of CoolCrafting. You can buy the books, patterns and kits to make this dress from www.coolcrafting.co.uk I am not affiliated with CoolCrafting or Sarah Peel in any way, I just like making the designs and offer my sewalongs as a way to help and encourage visual learners and beginner sewists.
The Winter Dress features a bias cut front wrapover panel, full skirt, grown-on sleeves and a waist tie. In this video we talk about the pattern, the fabric, the fit and then go on to cut out our fabric and construct the front, back and facings.
