Saving €33 with Placeholders | Valentine Sinking Fund & Cash Envelopes
This week, I’m saving €33 from two weeks of small income and leftover money, using my cash envelope system.
In this video, I add money to both my savings binder and long-term sinking fund, and for the first time, I use placeholders to track money that stays in the bank to earn interest — while still belonging to a specific category.
I also update one of my envelopes with a Valentine-themed sinking fund, using a soft saving challenge designed for intentional, non-impulsive spending.
This envelope isn’t about spending more — it’s about making space for something meaningful.
