🔽 Day 5 - March 25th

Today we skied from Cabane des Dix (2,928 m) to Cabane des Vignettes (3,160 m) via Col de Tsijiore Nouve (3,416 m), Col du Brenay (3,633 m) and Pigne d'Arolla (3,787 m).

This is the day we've been waiting for! Under perfect blue skies, we climbed the Pigne d'Arolla, the highest point on the entire Haute Route. The reward was unbelievable 360-degree views from the summit, spotting both the Matterhorn and Mont Blanc in the distance.

In March 2025, Siyuan and I ski toured for 7 days across the alps from Chamonix in France to Zermatt in Switzerland. The weather was always a factor, causing us much worry.
