Daddy-longlegs are arachnids that are not spiders, like scorpions. They have two eyes, eight legs, one body segment, and cannot spin silk (make webs). This one is way paler than average, likely because of a mutation in a pigment controlling gene. Normally they can be brown, tan, orangey or pinkish. Daddy-longlegs are very venomous, but they cannot bite through human skin and don’t try unless they’re very afraid.
