Framing Hanley's live performance of "Lollipop" at The Brass Rail bar in Peoria, IL on July 1st, 2009.
This was my 2nd concert in a span of just a few hours, as I had JUST seen Buckcherry / Shinedown / Staind about 10 miles down the road. That show ended around 10:30 & I sped over to this bar to catch the set from one of my new up & coming favorite bands.
Keep in mind, smartphones & easily accessible video capturing was still a ways away from becoming the norm. So this was shot on my bulky digital camera that I would carry around at shows.
This was the only footage from that show that I happen to still have, but I still think it's pretty cool & worth sharing! This band would go on to become one of my FAVORITE bands ever & are still making amazing music to this day!
Despite this being the only song I recorded that night & perhaps the only song a lot of "normal people" have heard, I would encourage you to check out some of their other songs/albums because they are WAY more than just a 1-hit wonder who covered a pop song. Trust me 🤘
