Playthrough of the World Cup mode with France, using the version included on Mega Games I. I imagine a lot of Mega Drive/Genesis owners are familiar with this game, as SEGA re-released it a lot. It's also known as World Championship Soccer and World Cup Soccer, but a few versions of it released in Europe were officially licensed for the FIFA 1990 World Cup. I can remember playing this a lot on my friend's Mega Drive back in the day, but only in 2 player mode, we always found the single player mode too hard. Then one day my friend got FIFA 95, and this game no longer existed to us.
Revisiting the game today, and it's a lot easier than I remembered. The main strategy is is to run down one side of the pitch, cross the ball over to the other side and then immediately shoot, you can usually score fairly easily using this method. Hence why I was able to rack up plenty of goals in most of the games.
Sorry for the video glitch at 1:13:37, I didn't feel like redoing the entire playthrough just for that.
