How to Create Textured Gesso & Apply Acrylic Paint

This is just the start of a series of videos that explore, experiment and demonstrate techniques that you can utilise in your own practice.





In this video, Louise demonstrates a number of different textures in acrylic gesso. Lovely effects are created using simple tools, lace curtains, rolling pins, splattering, stamps, leaves and brush marks.



Louise’s extensive experimentation resulted in an acute awareness of the potential of various media. She uses the media’s full potential to enhance the mark-making possibilities of textured and layered paintings.
